About Gujarat Sahay Yojana
Gujarat government has propelled Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana to give Rs. 1 lakh advance at 2% loan cost plot. This is state Government assistance as Rs. 5000 crore bundle for individuals. Features of Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana
- The scheme is beneficial for the 10 lakh small-time businessmen in the state including grocery shop owners, vegetable vendors and autorickshaw drivers.
- Beneficiaries will get a collateral-free loan up to Rs. 1 Lakh
- Applicants have to pay interest of 2% per annum while the remaining 6% interest will be paid by the state government
- 6 months moratorium period will be given to the beneficiaries
- The loan will be provided by co-operative banks, district banks and credit co-operative societies
- Government has sanctioned Rs.5000 crore for the project
